If this is covered elsewhere, I'm sorry, please let me know.  Profile Editor keeps crashing on my Windows 8, so I'm doing this manually.  However, Is there some sort of formula that helps me to convert WoW coordinates to Crawlerbot?  Also, how to you achieve the Z-Coordinate?  I keep running into mountains or even trees.  Trial and error for each profile is getting ugly.  Help, please...

There is not really a "formula" to convert coordinates. The ingame coordinates are not the coordinates used by the bot.

Ingame WoW uses aproximatey and normalized coordinates for the current map you are in. They range from 0 to 100 for the x and y axis. There is no z-axis for those coordinates.

The coordinates the bot uses are real 3d coordinates, based on the mesh of the current zone (someone correct me, if I state something erroneous).

Solution for your problem: Use the debug mode of the bot. There you can see the exact coordinates of your character.

Or use this mapper plugin. I wrote it a while ago for my rogue. You probably have to change the condition in the while part to something else. Usage is:
  • Add a new folder to your profiles folder and name it "Custom"
  • Start the plugin
  • Whenever you want a waypoint just hit F1 to target yourself. The plugin now adds a line to the mapper.txt file inside the Custom containig your current x,y and z coordinates.

I did not test the plugin for a while and it defenitely needs some work to function with all chars, but it is a start.

GetPlayer() with UnitPos will also return the right Position.
