Was ist ein Grinding Profil ?

Ein Grinding Profil wird für den MMOCrawlerBot benötigt, damit unser Character selbstständig läuft und mobs tötet. Dadurch levelt unser Character selbstständig.

Was benötige ich um ein Grinding Profil zu erstellen ?

1. Den Profileditor welcher beim MMOCrawlerBot mit dabei ist. Dieser befindet sich im Installationsverzeichnis\ProfileEditor Verzeichnis des Bots.
2. Den MMOCrawlerBot im Debug Modus - damit können wir sehen auf welchem Kontinent wir uns befinden und welche Nummern welcher Mob hat. Jeder gegnerische Mob hat eine eindeutige Nummer anhand dieser zu identifizieren ist. Damit der MMOCrawlerbot weiss welche Mobs er angreifen soll benötigt er diese IDs.
3. Einen Konverter (oder Notepad und viel Fummelei), um ein Gatherprofil welches mit dem Profil Editor erstellt wurde in ein Grinding Profil umzuwandeln.

Was sind die genauen Schritte vom Anfang bis zum fertigen Grinding Profil ?

1. Startet WoW und loggt euch auf einem Char ein.
2. Startet den Profil Editor und erstellt ein "Gather Profile". Stellt den Abstand zwischen 2 Wegpunkten ein und klickt auf "Auto add", damit die Wegpunkte beim Laufen automatisch hinzugefügt werden.
3. Lauft mit eurem WoW Character nun eine Strecke ab, die der Bot später selbstständig zurücklegen soll. Wenn Ihr fertig seid, dann schließt das "Profile Editor" Fenster einfach. Das Profil ist automatisch gespeichert worden.
4. Jetzt muss das "Gather Profile", welches eigentlich zum Sammeln von Erzen und Kräutern gedacht ist in ein "Grinding Profile" umgewandelt werden. Hierzu startet Ihr meinen MMOCrawlerBotConverter und wählt unter "Select File" das von euch gerade erstellte Gather Profil aus. Dieses befindet sich in einem weiteren Unterordner des Bots:  ProfileEditor\profiles\   . Mit dem Converter können sowohl Gather Profile als auch Grinding Profile geladen, geändert und wieder gespeichert werden. Gespeichert wird allerdings immer im "Grinding Profile Format".
5. Jetzt startet Ihr parallel zum Converter den Crawler Bot. Nach dem Starten wählt Ihr den Debug Modus. Wenn Ihr jetzt in WoW einen Mob anklickt und in dem Debug Fenster auf "Refresh" klickt, bekommt Ihr eine Mob ID. Diese ist wichtig und wird im Converter unter MobID eingetragen und hinzugefügt. Damit greift der Bot später beim Laufen diesen Mob automatisch an, sobald er in seine Reichweite kommt. Das wiederholt Ihr bis Ihr alle gewünschten Mobs eingetragen habt. Alternativ habt Ihr die Möglichkeit im Converter einen Mob zu suchen. Die Suche führt euch zu WoWhead.com - in der URL des gefundenen Mobs seht Ihr ein "npc=12345". Die Nummer hinter dem Gleichheitszeichen ist die MobID die wir suchen.
6. Stellt im Converter die Level Range ein, für die euer Profil gelten soll. Achtung: wenn euer Character ausserhalb dieses Level Bereiches ist, wird das Profil für diesen Character nicht funktionieren. Beispiel: Profil ist Lvl 84 bis 88 und euer Character ist LVL 90 - er wird auf der Stelle stehen bleiben und nichts passiert. Nachdem die Level Range eingestellt ist müsst Ihr noch die "Kontinent ID" eintragen. Diese findet Ihr ebendfalls im CrawlerBot Debug Fenster.
7. Speichert das Profil ab. Das Profil wird unter dem gleichen Dateinamen abgespeichert wie es geladen wurde, ausser dass die Dateiendung sich von .ini auf .cgrind ändert.
8. Startet den Crawler Bot im GrindModus, wählt die soebend gespeicherte .CGrind Datei und habt Spaß beim Botten !

Was benötigt der Konverter um zu laufen ?

Sollte das Programm nicht starten installiert bitte das Net Framework 4, welches Ihr kostenlos und legal im Netz bekommt. Unter Windows 7 und Windows 8 sollte das Programm ohne extra Installationen sofort laufen. Wenn Ihr Windows XP verwendet funktioniert er sofort, wenn euer PC durchgepatcht ist, ansonsten -> Net Framework 4 nachinstallieren.

Ist der Konverter von MMOCrawlerBots ?

Nein. Ich habe mir trotzdem erlaubt das Logo vom Bot mit in die Exe einzubinden - ich hoffe dafür werde ich nicht gesteinigt. Den Konverter habe ich für mich geschrieben, weil ich keine Lust auf das Notepad hatte. Man mag es komfortabel - deswegen benutzt man auch einen Bot und grindet nicht selbst Der Botschreiber hat eine super Arbeit geleistet und deshalb möchte ich etwas zu diesem geilen kostenlosen Produkt beitragen und euch das Grinding Profil Erstellen nochmal ein Stück erleichtern und vereinfachen.

Das Programm ist sauber und kann so oft kopiert werden wie Ihr möchtet. Das einzige was ich mir an dieser "free version" erlaubt habe ist eine kleine Werbeeinblendung für eine meiner Webseiten beim Beenden des Programms (kann auch problemlos zugeklickt werden). Das Erstellen und modifizieren von Profilen ist somit nochmal ein Stück einfacher.

I did as best I could to translate.  Its not perfect, with some things added and some things omitted.  Hope it helps though.  Huge thanks to Hellfire for this.  I got sick of using Notepad to create Grind profiles.  Its a pain in the ass if you make a huge route.

What is a Grinding Profile?

Grinding Profiles are required to let MMOCrawlerBot basically level our characters for us, unassisted.  Your character will run along a set path and kill mobs to gain experience.

What do I need to create a profile for Grinding?

Firstly, you need the Profile Editor, which already comes with MMOCrawlerBot.  This is located in the ProfileEditor folder in your install directory, typically named ‘Editor.exe’.

Second, run the MMOCrawlerBot in debug mode – This is to see the ID of the continent you are on as well as the MobID of the mobs in the area. Each enemy mob has a unique number to identify it. This is important because it tells the MMOCrawlerbot which mobs to attack.

Third, a converter (or Notepad and much fumbling).   You will change a Gatherprofile (which was created with the profile editor) to transform into a grinding profile.

Now for the exact steps:

1.  Start WoW and log in to a character.

2.  Start the Profile Editor and create a "gather profile".  Set the distance between 2 waypoints and click "Auto Add", so the waypoints are added automatically when running.  In areas with many trees or places you get stuck, you may want to set this low (15).  For more open areas, 30+ is good.  The more waypoints you have, the longer it takes to load.
If you need more information about creating a Gather Profile, please refer to the respective guides.

3.  Run with your World of Warcraft character along the route you want to Grind along.  Try to end where you started so that it loops cleanly.  When you're done, simply close the Editor. The profile will be automatically saved.

4.  Now, you have a "Gather Profile".  This is actually intended for the collection of minerals and herbs, so we’re going to convert it. Start the MMOCrawlerBotConverter (attachment of first post) and select the "Select File” option.  Select the Gather Pofile you have just created (this is located in a subfolder ProfileEditor/Profiles). The Converter can open and modify gather and grinding profiles, but they will always be saved as a "grinding profile format".

5.  You’re going to now want to run MMOCrawlerBot in DEBUG mode and keep the converter open.  When you click on a mob in Warcraft, then the "Refresh" button of the bot in debug mode, you will get a mob id. This is important and will be registered under Converter MobID and added.  When you run the Grind bot in the future, it will now kill all of this mob type the moment they are within range.  Repeat this step until you have entered all desired mobs.
Alternatively, you have an option in the converter to find a mob. The search leads you to WoWhead.com. Look at the URL for the ‘=12345’ portion of the URL. The number after the equal sign is the MobID you want.

6.  Set the level range with the Converter.  Warning: if your character outside of this level range, the profile will not work for this character. Example: Lvl profile is 84 to 88 and your character is LVL 90 - he will remain in one spot and nothing will happen. Once the level range is set you must also enter the "continent ID". You can find these in MMOCrawlerBots debug window.

7.  Save the profile. The profile will be saved under the same file name as it was loaded, except that the file extension will change from .ini to .CGrind.

8. Start the crawler bot to Grind Mode, select the CGrind file and have fun botting!

What is required for the converter to run?

If the program does not start, please install the Net Framework 4, which you get for free and legally online. In Windows 7 and Windows 8, the program should run immediately without extra installations. Generally, most versions of Windows XP also already come with the Net Framework.   Simply google for it.

Is the converter from MMOCrawlerBots?

No.  As of right now, this is not official in any way with MMOCrawlerBot- I hope I will not be stoned for the logo. The converter I have written is from me (Hellfire76), because I had no desire to use Notepad.  The Bot programmers have done a great job, so I wanted to contribute something to this great free product and help the making of Grind profiles a bit easier.

The program is clean and can be copied as many times as you wish. The only thing I left out of this "free version" is a small advert for one of my websites when exiting the program (can be added easily in a few clicks). Creating and modifying the profiles is hopefully now a lot easier.

Hey das ist wirklich ein sehr tolles Programm.
Allerdings bekomme ich häufig eine Fehlermeldung wen ich dann das erstellte grind profiel geladen habe " [12:10:08] - Failed with error: -2147483647 "
Der bott will dann immer irgend wo anderes hinrennen woran liegt das und wie kann man das beheben ?
